Make words steeling cards from your opponents without seeing yours!
In PLUCK! every player sees the other players’ cards instead of their own. Each card is a letter in your hand that you can’t see. Instead, you see the cards of your opponents, and steal them while exchanging hints. The obstacles are served!
Through received hints you have to compose words by revealing the letters in your hand to one another. Words are assembled by putting together other player’s letters and one of your own.
PLUCK! promotes linguistic diversity and esteem for vocabulary, activates memory, increases visual-mental association, gives free rein to strategy and sustains collaboration.
the Catalan-Spanish version – called PISPA – has its 2nd edition coming up
Multilingual play: the fun and the wisdom of linguistic diversity
PLUCK! is a “clever together” game, challenging and fun, versatile about ages, difficulty and how to play. Compared to other word making games, it allows all types of words and different languages at once, reaching an international audience. In shops and fairs in Spain it’s becoming very popular.
What makes it special
Players of the Catalan and Spanish version – Pispa – refer to the wittiness and versatility that beat the famous Scrabble because you have to memorise the letters in your hand. Even when you end up with a tie, the resolution is mind blowing. PLUCK! is a classic to be: the multilingual game where you are allowed to combine thanks, merci and dankjewel!

Cooperative Play (2 to 5 players)
Coperate to win as a group!
The goal is to reach the number of words within the allowed time. Now the lowest
number-card defines the amount of words that the group needs to compose. Double the highest number-card: this is the allowed time. Set up a timer.
Good luck! You have from 6 to 14 minutes to achieve the group challenge!
Inventing new rules:
• Limited or unlimited. Before the start, make your own agreements: do you allow all sorts of words or do you prefer to limit the possibilities?
• Multilingual play. Decide how many languages are allowed. It’s fun to play with two languages… or more! Allowing the language diversity at the table is a unique way of playing. You only need to trust each other. Have fun learning new words!
• Level up the difficulty. Seven-letter words or longer count triple!
• The game allows many variations… share your additions with us! at info@ponsverhoog.org
