Red Herring is a game to challenge your opponents letting the tongue fly!
Combine the cards and imagine original, funny, romantic, suspenseful, or tear-jerking films. You will not resist the weird combinations of elements to joke around. Having a laugh is unavoidable!
You are a collective of frustrated writers that has been commissioned for a genuine genre film. As competition arises between your fellow scribblers about who should lead, you decide to have a pitching tournament to choose who will be the author of this film.
The goal is to come up with the best stories and get the most votes and points. At each round, each player is commissioned to pitch a genre film with some script-element cards in their hand, and four cards drawn on the table that direct the game. Throwing a herring helps your mission or obstructs your opponent’s!
The red herrings are tricks to use against other players to mess with them. Or power-ups and bonus for yourself.
